Mac Keeps Asking For Keychain Password

Keeps Ag For Keychain Password From Tim

The issue is - it keeps asking for password from tim to time when I openre-open Safari.

Let me describe in greater details whats going on: Important - it never happened before before Ive updated to macOS Sierra.

The window asking for password appears only when I open Safari the first time and asks for keychain password for Local items, which I dont even have (or at least dont see) in Keychain Access - there are only iCloud, Login, Certificates, thats it.

If I enter my password the screen disappear and Safari pretends that all is okay.

If I close it and open again after some time, the message will appears again.

If I click cancel then another message appears, asking for password for iCloud Keychain, the behavior here is exactly as in point above (2.1).

The mitigation which didnt work: Removing the folder from LibraryKeychain didnt help Restarting iCloud Keychain didnt help Resetting Keychain Access didnt help Reinstalling macOS 10.12 didnt help Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I did switch off the cloud keychain and reset password - all led to the same result.

Move all files into the new folder (prepare to delete it actually) 3.

It will help if you have keychain activated in iCloud so you wont lose your passwords 4.

Reboot 5. Once system started and youre back at your desktop, just sign in in tour iCloud and activate keychain again.

This is exactly what I did a few weeks ago and like for you, the pop up came back after a few days.

BUT without doing anything more, now the problem disappeared I dont know why and how but it did.

Also I installed the last MacOS update ( with the combo link ), but Im sure that the problem was gone before.
